La Tenuta
Tenuta la Bandita is an historic estate of 55 hectares spread across sunny hills and part of the upper Val di Cornia, a few minutes drive from Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, Marina di Castagneto and the other beautiful beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
It is a magical place indeed known only to few and surrounded by bushy Mediterranean vegetation, vineyards and olive groves.
The Main Villa
The main villa is a two-storey house with a large panoramic terrace dating back to the 17th century. It has been entirely refurbished and transformed into an elegant and quiet country house. Its large halls, the 10 cosy bedrooms, the furniture, the paintings and the antiques it contains bestow the warm atmosphere of a private luxury home. The restaurant takes advantage of our own organic produce including wild boar, “cinta senese” pork and virgin olive-oil constituting high-quality traditional Tuscan cuisine.
La Foresteria
“La Foresteria” and “Gli Ulivi" are two independent units situated close to the main villa, which boasts 14 comfortable bedrooms, the majority of which having small gardens.A tennis court, swimming pool and a private chapel are all at the disposal of our guests. An ideal place for cycling or horse-riding and an excellent base for trips to the beach, the islands of the Tuscan archipelago, visits to historic art-cities or to small antique Tuscan villages.



Gli Ulivi

The Restaurant: Its delicious dishes all follow the Maremma culinary tradition and are mainly prepared with organic produce from the farm, among which homemade pasta and game dishes.
Available on Request: Cookery courses and wine-tasting at some of the most important wine farms producers of the area such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Grattamaco and Paleo.Organized trips to oil mills, to some of our supplying cellars, to farmhouses where local goat and sheep cheese is produced.Visit to our wild boar and other animal farms.
